Pastor’s Update

Dear friend of Pine Mountain Christian Community Church,

Christmas is a multifaceted wonder of great truths. One of the great truths of Christmas is that God keeps His promises. In Genesis, just after Adam and Eve disobeyed God, God promised a Savior that Would crush Satan (Genesis 3:15). God kept His promise. God sent His Son, The Lord Jesus, to ultimately do away with Satan and his evil works. God continued to give us promises and prophesies so that we would be sure to recognize the Savior when He came. This Sunday, December 7th, Elder David Oertel will share a few of the over three hundred prophecies in the Old Testament that predict the coming Messiah and Savior.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THESE COMMENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:     

*  This Sunday, the new copies of The Daily Bread will be on the table next to the front door. Be sure to pick up your free copy and use it to help you learn more about God and His Word.

* Next week we will be putting a post card in every P.O. Box here in Pine Mountain Club, inviting everyone to come to church during this Christmas season. We will also be putting out a banner on the church to remind everyone of the Christmas story. Please be in prayer that God will use these post cards and the banner to bring people to church and to bring people to Christ.  

* As we prepare for the new year, we are asking God to raise up two more people who will each help with Children’s Church one Sunday a month. If you are interested in helping with this important ministry, please text me at 661-717-9622.
